Wednesday Wishlist #32 - Matalan Edition

June 04, 2014

Lace Jacquard Waterfall Cardigan This is totally out of my comfort zone, with the very bright yellow shade but you know what? I love it! It's one of those items that I'm not sure would look flattering on me because of the cut, but I really like the white lace overlay - it helps tone it down a bit and make it more wearable. This would be perfect for those indecisive days, where it's too warm for a coat but too cold to go without!

Aztec Print Soft Trousers Here we go again with the comfy yet fashionable trousers and I think that I've found my next pair! I was after some black and white ones, and these have that in abundance but with added splashes of colour too - what's not to love? I'm hoping that Matalan will bring out more prints in these in the future; they have two others I believe but they don't appeal to me like these ones do.

Animal Print Swing Dress Matalan have a few different versions of these, and I'm torn between this one and the Floral Print as to which one I like best! These look comfortable, flattering and easy to wear. My only concern is that in the pictures they look like they could run a little short - I'd need to try one on before I buy. I love the bright, punchy colours of this print; it's definitely one to get you noticed!

Textured T-Shirt I love this "neppy" fabric that I've seen spring up all over the high street in recent months, but had yet to find a tshirt that I liked in the fabric - until now! The thing that bugs me most about tops like this are the sleeves - more often than not they sit too high up but this one looks just right. They come in a few different shades, and I have to say that I would love to own them all if they fit right.

Silver & Pearl Flower Collar Necklace I never used to wear necklaces, and now I find myself attracted to be biggest, gaudiest ones of the lot... how times change. I can't believe that this is only £10 - in Zara or Topshop they would easily charge well over £30 for a piece like this! The neutral tones mean that it would go with just about anything, which let's be honest just makes everyone's lives easier.

Mesh Hinge Collar With Cream Cord Talking of Topshop, I remember this style of necklace being very popular about a year or so ago, and me being me I jumped on the bandwagon too late (Not that I would have paid the price they were asking for it, but still). This is pretty much exactly what I was after, and for a fraction of that cost - I need to get hold of it as soon as possible before this one slips from my grasp too!
