The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel
You may have seen this in my Body Shop haul a couple of weeks ago, and I professed my love for it then - well, I'm doing it again right now! The thing that surprises me about this is how little of it I need to use. I've been using this twice a day ever since I bought it and as you can see, it's doing pretty well. Me and Martin sometimes share shower gels and this is one that we both will happily use... always a bonus!
Oriflame The ONE Nail Polish in Night Orchid*
I haven't had this nail polish for long, but I was so impressed with it that I felt like it needed a special mention. This was opaque in one coat, not too thick or too runny and the brush made application a breeze. The only downside is the wear time; Oriflame claim it can last up to 14 days (With top coat, base coat and touch ups) and I got my first chip on day three. Not bad, but the long wear claim is unrealistic.
Avène Soothing Hydrating Serum*
At the beginning of last month, I wrote a monster review comparing this to the Vichy Idéalia Life Serum, and pretty much concluded that I liked them both. However, I have found myself reaching for this one more often than the Vichy because it is lighter on the skin, sinks in quicker and does the job pretty well. The Vichy serum is thicker, and works better on my dry skin days; but on a regular basis, I prefer Avène's.
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel
I eventually got around to buying this a few weeks ago, and it's now my daily moisturiser of choice. I love how my skin drinks this up and leaves it feeling incredibly smooth afterwards - it creates the perfect base for make up. On my dry patches around my jaw I sometimes have to apply two layers, but for the rest of my face it's perfect. It doesn't make my oily t-zone any worse either, which is a massive plus for me!
Oriflame The ONE Lash Resistance Mascara*
When I received this in my goody bag from the Oriflame event, I have to admit I was disappointed that it wasn't the Volume Blast Mascara I got told it was going to be. However, my disappointment was quickly forgotten when I tried this mascara. I've never been able to find a mascara that is able to hold a curl on my stubborn lashes, but this manages it, whilst separating them and offering a healthy boost of volume.
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Frambourjoise
Last but not least is a matte liquid lipstick that I've been wearing on my lips a lot this month. I did fall for the blogger hype, but behaved myself and only picked up this shade (I have since bought Peach Club too). This is the most comfortable matte that I've ever worn; my lips don't feel dry at all! It does need two coats, but this is just as long lasting as all the others and is a pretty, universally flattering shade to wear.
