On this blog, I am always honest and transparent with my readers. This is extremely important to me, and on this page are some guidelines that I work by, that I have in place to keep everyone happy and "in the know".
I accept items and/or payment in exchange for a review, or promotion, on my blog. However, I do not accept every item or payment offer, and will only do so if the items are relevant to my blog or interests. I also write restaurant and hotel reviews, and accept appropriate compensation and or/payment to do so.
Any items marked with an asterisk (*) are items received for review, or items paid for with gift vouchers/store credit. This also applies to items I have received from events. Any restaurant or hotel reviews where I have received the meal, stay or both in compensation for the review, are marked as such at the end of each blog post.
With any items sent with the intention of review, my opinion is always 100% honest and is not affected by me receiving an item for review. If it transpires that the items are not a fit for me, or I view negatively in some way, I can and will choose not to feature them at all. All items are received with this understanding in place.
If links to specific items or websites are to be included in the blog post, they will be "no-follow" only. This is in accordance with Google's guidelines, and under no circumstances will I consider making any links in a blog post a "do-follow", sponsored or otherwise. I also have full creative control over my blog posts, and will no longer accept suggested phrases or certain words to be used as links, or indeed anywhere in the post. If I do accept a sponsored post, or include a sponsored link, this will be marked appropriately at the end of each post. Again, these requests will only be considered if the content is relevant to my blog and/or interests.
