This was an unplanned OOTD - I went out with Martin and some friends to Otley on Sunday, and last minute I decided to bring my camera with me. It was my birthday on the Friday, but with everyone else being at work I saved seeing my friends for the weekend. I'll be popping up a little post on what we got up to in the next few days, but for now here is what I wore. My dress was a surprise gift from my parents, and although it's something that I usually wouldn't have gone for because it's sleeveless, I actually really like it! It was decent weather on Sunday but I still wanted a cover up, so threw on this cardigan to keep my arms warm. I did, however, forgo the nude tights that I usually insist upon, as my only pair seem to have shrunk in the wash! I'm really not a fan of my legs, so cover them up as much as possible but that day, I really couldn't be bothered worrying about it. In the future, I will probably wear this dress with black tights. The bag is actually a birthday present from Martin, and I absolutely love it! I wanted a bag that would be big enough to fit my DSLR and spare lenses in - mostly for events, but also for times where I'm out with the intention of reviewing restaurants or something similar. I also wanted a bag that allowed me to carry it either on the shoulder or on the crook of my arm, which this bag allows me to do. I love the fastening; the main flap actually goes inside the bag, and there's a strap that comes over the top and clips shut at the front. It's quite unusual and makes it look more expensive than it really is! The sunglasses are my go-to pair, as they go with everything and with the polarised lenses, are the best quality that I have. I love the detail on the arms; it's pretty without being too over the top and offers a point of interest. Finally, the shoes are just a regular slip-on pair of dolly flats - I ended up having to buy these to replace my suedette pair that I've lost! I don't like this pair nearly as much, but for now they will do.
