The Body Shop Haul May 2014

Long time, no haul! Last Sunday, I took myself off into town to get myself a few bits and bobs. I had intended on placing on online order with The Body Shop during the week with a 35% off discount code (They now have 40% off and free delivery with code 14586), but I just couldn't deal with paying the £2.99 delivery charge. It sounds silly I know, but I always think that the £2.99 could be spent on something else! I didn't have enough to qualify for free delivery, and every time I added something into my basket it wouldn't accept free delivery, despite being over £25. Still, never mind, eh? I knew that I was going to heading into town on Sunday to meet Martin, so as well as visiting Primark (Haul coming tomorrow, all being well!), I used my discount code in the Leeds store to get what I wanted. Here's what ended up in my basket...

Early Harvest Raspberry Shower Gel 250ml, £4.00
I'm fast running out of shower gel, so wanted to give a Body Shop one a try and see how long they last. Can I just say, this smells incredible. Seriously, just go into a store and smell it. It's honestly the freshest, most natural fruit scent I've ever come across - I could almost eat it, it smells that good! I've used this already and I can confirm that it lathers up really well, and is just a joy to use on a daily basis.

Special Edition Blueberry Shower Gel 250ml, £4.00
I simply couldn't decide between this one and the raspberry one in the shop, and seeing as this is a "special edition" I didn't want to leave it behind, for fear of not being able to buy it again! Again, this smells so incredibly realistic - sharp, tangy yet sweet and the scent is so powerful for just a shower gel. I can see me repurchasing this in the future and having some for backups, along with the other matching products.

Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, £12
This was my cleanser of choice for a good long while, and after having a brief affair with the Camomile Cleansing Oil I've gone back to this. I will be comparing the two in a post for you within the next week or so, but basically this one is my favourite. This just works so well on my skin, and makes the arduous task of removing make up a breeze. It also smells absolutely lovely, and is easy to work with too, unlike the oil.

Madagascan Vanilla Flower Perfume Oil, £7.00 FREE
With my shopping, I also picked up a Love Your Body card, which costs £5 for the year. I didn't really get the point of it, but the lady in the store explained it to me and I was able to pick this up for free by becoming a member. This smells nice enough, nothing special about it but I was surprised at how long this scent lasts on me. It's alcohol free too, which is a bonus because my skin doesn't react well to it.

Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder in 01 Light Matte, £13.00
Estée from Essie Button has been talking about this bronzer recently, and being a fellow pale girl I decided that I had to have it. I've never been able to find a matte bronzer that is the right shade for me - I love my Soap & Glory Solar Powder but it does have a shimmer to it, making it not suitable for contouring. This bronzer is the answer to that problem, and hopefully will allow me to contour with ease - I'll report back!
