Creating that cosy atmosphere simply isn't complete without a candle, and Yankee Candle is always my first choice. This is from their Fall 2013 collection and having burnt the wax tart I can say that it smells absolutely divine. If you're a fan of the foody scents like myself then get hold of this pronto - it's warming and comforting without being sickly sweet.
Satin stripe fleece throw (Various colours) - £9.95
If you're one that can never seem to get warm, multiple layers is key and adding a lovely soft blanket on top really helps keep the heat in. This one is big enough for both you and your partner to snuggle up under whilst on the sofa (Ooh!), and also for a double bed so you can even throw this over your duvet when you hit the sack. This is great if your duvet is not very thick, like mine!
Hot water bottle with knit cover (Various colours) - £7.99
Hands and feet can often get cold - I know mine do - so giving those some extra heat can go a long way in helping you to feel more warm all around. Also, what can be more traditional than getting a hot water bottle going when it's cold? This has the added bonus of being used for *those* aches and pains if needs be and the cover is removable for easy cleaning.
Polka dot mug with spoon (Various colours) - £2.99 with £3.20 p&p
Whether you're having a hot drink or warming up a soup, having a cute mug with a spoon just makes everything a bit easier - provided you don't lose the spoon of course. These ones are microwave safe so you can just pop in whatever you're having and get it heated up quickly, no fuss. Also it means there's no faffing with trying to find somewhere to put the spoon when you're stirring the contents!
Montagne Jeunesse Fudge Sauna face mask - £1.00 with 0.60 p&p
This post couldn't exist without a face mask, and it had to be this one! Not only will this smell absolutely incredible, it is also self heating so at least for a short while, your face will be quite toasty and warm! This particular one helps to open up your pores and give a good deep cleanse, it does all the hard work for you so you can relax and catch up with TV or watch a film.
Thermal non-slip slipper socks (Various colours) £2.99
In a similar theme to the hot water bottle, however these you can leave on whenever you need to leave the cosy den you've set up. Non-slip soles are an essential if you have any wooden or laminate flooring, as I discovered in my regular slipper socks the other day! These look lovely and thick so would last you a long time, even if you spend all day running around the house in them.
