Beauty Haul

March 20, 2013

Spring time is supposed to be upon us... yet sadly I can still see some snow out of my window, will winter never end?! However despite this I decided that I wanted to refresh my make up for the (supposedly) warmer months, and try some new products that I'd seen great reviews of time and time again. So armed with my Boots and Superdrug points cards, a hefty discount code for The Body Shop and the order page on my staff discount website, I delved right in!

Superdrug, £8.99
I had originally wanted Revlon's new "Nearly Naked" foundation, but after searching both Boots and Superdrug I couldn't find my shade! The B. stand in Superdrug caught my eye, and I figured that this one had to be worth a try. I will be reviewing this very soon but I have to say that I absolutely love it!

Boots, £7.99
Despite not being able to find the liquid foundation, I still wanted to try Revlon's powder from this line as I heard that it offers a bit of extra coverage. This was expensive for me, but I bought it using my Boots points so it was basically free! It comes with a little mirror in the lid and a small sponge.

Boots, £4.19
I've been oohing and aahing about getting this for months, and I finally made the plunge with my Boots points. I'm sure I don't need to tell you that for many a blogger, this is their holy grail concealer. I've fallen out of love with my Soap & Glory Kick Ass concealer, so I could justify purchasing this!

Superdrug, £4
Oh MUA, you've done it again... another great dupe! Everybody knows that this is a dupe for Urban Decay's Naked II palette, so I had to snap it up to try for myself. I wasn't even expecting to find this, but the Superdrug in Leeds has FINALLY started stocking MUA's products!

The Body Shop (online store), £2
I went on The Body Shop's website to purchase some Mother's Day gifts, and ended up having a browse through their sale section. I already own a mini version of this, but when I saw the full size for such a small sum, it went straight into my basket! Gonna decide whether to save it for winter or not now...

The Body Shop (online store), £8 £4.80
This was the only other product I picked up for myself, and using one of their discount codes I picked up this for myself. I have finished up my seaweed one, and didn't really get on with it. Martin's mum has a bottle of this in her bathroom and I really enjoyed it, so it made sense for it to be my next cleanser to try!

Work staff discount website, £28.50
For the last few months I've been eying up which perfume to buy first once my staff discount kicked in, and I had to go for this. I sprayed it on myself in the shop when me and Martin were on our way to Amsterdam, and now it reminds me of that! I absolutely love the bottle and the scent is simply to die for.
