Stud boots are all the rage this season, and I myself was desperate for a pair of Office's Nighthawks. I'd seen them in store and spent a long time gazing at them in wonder; they felt so soft, looked very comfortable and would go with most outfits.  Alas, I walked out of the shop empty handed because I couldn't justify the price. Fast forward a few months and retailers all over the country are making their own versions of these boots for a fraction of the cost. The main difference with these is the number of buckles and the studs on the back half of the boot - but I'm assuming that Office have some sort of copyright over this particular design and therefore they cannot be copied exactly. However, for less than half the price these boots from eBay are not too shabby at all and you can achieve a similar look. Obviously with boots like this the quality is going to differ; the Nighthawks are made out of real leather whereas the boots from eBay are made from synthetic materials. I guess what you have to weigh up is how much wear you're going to get out of them. Are you going to wear them to death this winter, or would they be saved for special occasions only? 

Final verdict: A fairly good dupe, but it's hard to deny the quality of the Nighthawks.
