It seems like everyone and their mother has been talking about these recently... I can't say I blame them! The Clinique Chubby Sticks were the first of their kind, offering an easy, convenient way to moisturise your lips and provide a bit of colour. The wind-up pencil form made it much less messy than pot versions and were undoubtedly a big hit. Therefore, it wasn't long before another brand caught wind of this and created their own; Revlon's balm stains, which are half the price of Clinique's sticks. According to many, Revlon's version offers just as good a result as its more expensive counterpart and I find this easy to believe. Clinique currently offer 16 shades, whereas Revlon offer 12, so in all honesty there's not that much difference between them and I'm tempted to give the latter a go!

Final verdict: For this particular type of product, it's worth saving your pennies and going for Revlon's version to get your lip balm/stain fix.
