It's my birthday this coming Wednesday (6th June), so what does that mean? Presents for myself of course! I had my eyes on several pairs of shoes, but after ASOS emailed me a birthday voucher code for 10% off and free next day delivery, these shoes sealed the deal for me. So may I introduce you all to the ASOS Ablaze Wedge!


I apologise for the quality of the photos - it's very hard to take photos of your own feet, especially when wearing heels like these! You can get the gist of them, anyway. It was also hard to photograph the colour properly; the last photo is probably the most accurate. They are a really gorgeous, mint green and the detail is fantastic! 


You can get these in several different colours/patterns (view them all here), and I fell in love with this mint green gingerbread pair straight away! They retail at £60, but at the moment they have 20% off, taking them down to £48 - then I added on my 10% discount which took them down to £43.20, which is a bargain!


They are very high; I believe the heel is 6" with a 2" platform. This being said, they are very comfortable and feel very sturdy to walk on. They lace up with the usual eyelets until you get to the top and they become D hooks, which makes it much easier to tie them nice and tight.


I'm going to wearing these for the first time tomorrow, when me and Martin go to York for a couple of days. I will try and get a couple of outfits shots so you can see how I style them; I think the key with shoes like this is to make them stand out as much as possible!
