Jewellery bargains at Matalan

May 26, 2012

When most people think of Matalan, they think of old people's clothes. And that can be forgiven - their website doesn't show off the best of what they have in store, especially in terms of jewellery. I'd go as far to say that the jewellery selection on their website is abysmal, and it's only when you get to go have a look in their stores that you realise that there's some right gems to be discovered! They seem to have a selection of designers/brands, all of which are reasonably priced and are somewhat aimed at different ages groups - although it is worth having a look through all of them. Their rings in particular are especially nice but they sell everything from necklaces to belly bars. I have to admit that Matalan is fast becoming my favourite place for jewellery at the moment! They seem to have a constant sale on selected jewellery items, so I picked up a couple of bargains today and an inexpensive full-priced item - here's what I bought!

Blue and silver dangle earrings: £2 (RRP £4)

Gold leaf earrings: £3.50 (Full price)

Silver sugar skull ring: £2.50 (RRP £5)

Have you ever shopped at Matalan? Where is your favourite place to buy inexpensive jewellery?
