The Body Shop Almond Body Butter
Because I am now a "Love Your Body" member, I got a free gift up to the value of five pounds in June. I didn't really know what I wanted, there was nothing specific that I had in mind so I picked up this. I'm not sure why I did, but I'm very glad that I have it now; this stuff smells amazing, like bakewell tarts. It also helps with the dry skin on the front of my legs and sinks in quite quickly for such a thick product too.
The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter
I've been using this on and off for the longest time, and I can't believe that it hasn't made it into a favourites yet! This is effectively a cleansing balm, and it does it's job so well; it removes all of my make up in one go, plus it leaves my skin feeling soft and comfortable after use. It also has a mild yet pleasant scent and when bought with a discount code, is the best and most affordable that I've tried.
RMK Make Up Base
This last featured in a favourites post just over a year ago, and I haven't used it since then. It's been sat in my drawer, lonely and forgotten about. I think it was recently included in a Birchbx (I got mine from JolieBox, it's predecessor) and so I dug it out once more. This gives me the perfect base for my make up, offers a smooth finish and blurs out imperfections. I might even purchase a full size when it runs out!
Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream*
After my Benefit eye cream ran out a few weeks ago, I started to use this on a daily basis. Every evening, after my serum and before my moisturiser, I take a generous amount and pat it around my eyes and I can honestly see a difference. The skin there is smoother, softer and even the dark circles have seen a slight improvement. It's very thick and nourishing, and doesn't irritate my eyes at all - a winner all round.
Escada Cherry In The Air
This came out last summer and I spent a good couple of months covering myself in the stuff before it went off sale. I ended up with this vial at Christmas time, and over the last couple of weeks have rediscovered it again. It's very sweet and girly, with top notes of sour cherry, mandarin and raspberry, drying down to a sandalwood and white suede base, which prevents it from being too sickly.
Anatomicals No Old Bags Allowed Eye Gel
What I like about this eye gel is that it serves one purpose - it's very cooling and refreshing. In the morning, when my eyes are feeling puffy and heavy and I just can't seem to wake myself up, I dab on a bit of this all around both eyes and I instantly feel better. Placebo? Yes, perhaps but to me it makes all the difference. It's become an almost daily use product and I couldn't be without it nowadays.
