Before I start this post properly I have to say... if you're wondering my nails look so short, it's because I had to cut them! I managed to break two on my right hand which looked odd enough, and then the nail on my middle finger on my left hand developed a nick so I had to suck it up and give them all the chop. To be honest they wouldn't have lasted much longer at that length anyway, and they were getting too long to be practical. They'll grow back again soon I'm sure! Anyway, moving on today I have for you a textured polish from Nails Inc - this is from their 'Concrete' collection and is in the shade 'London Wall'.

I was taking advantage of the sale on ASOS when I came across this in the beauty section, they were selling for just £6 instead of £12 so it was too good to pass up. However, I did behave myself and just pick up this one shade, which is a perfect greige nude and it actually leans quite warm in tone. For me, it's the perfect transitional shade for summer to autumn and one that goes with everything. What I love about polishes like these is that they have a fun twist, at first glance they can look a bit plain but when people get closer they always want to touch your nails... I guarantee it happens every time!

This applied much easier than I was expecting; it does go on gritty but it's perfectly fine to work with. The formula is perfect, not too thick nor too thin and you could easily get away with one thick coat of this if you were in a rush - I used two coats just to be on the safe side. The joy with this is that you can tell when it's completely dry because the texture changes as it does, it's hard to describe but I'd have to liken it to using a crackle polish. It did dry much, much quicker than I was expecting, and once it is dry it still has a slight shine - it's matte in texture but not in finish. It is actually almost identical in finish to the Barry M Textured Nail Paint in Ridley Road that I reviewed a few months back!

This particular shade is no longer available on ASOS but two other shades are. London Wall can be purchased from Beauty Bay for £9.72.
