All Used Up #4

October 04, 2012

It seems like it was last week when I last did one of these posts, in truth it was well over a month ago! Again I've been making an active effort to use up those products that were forgotten about in the bottom of my drawer, so here's what I've managed to finish up this time.

TRESemme Colour Revitalise Shampoo
You may remember that last time I finished up the conditioner, now I have finished up the shampoo to match. This bottle was huge, I think I've had it about a year and I'm glad that I've managed to finish it! It's a pretty good shampoo for helping my colour last longer, but didn't leave my hair in the best condition.
Repurchase? Probably not, there's better colour shampoos available now.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Colour Deep Treatment
This was one of the first products I reviewed on this blog! At the time I enjoyed this product but now I don't think it offers anything special. In the end I was using this every day and it didn't make my hair feel any softer really. It also went mouldy on the bottom (yuck) and the scent was unpleasant after a while.
Repurchase? No, but I am still a big fan of the Aussie range.

James Brown London Intensive Mask For Hair
This was given to me a very long time ago by Martin's mum. Again at first I really enjoyed using it, but it got forgotten about until fairly recently. It is quite thick and creamy, worked easily into my hair and smells really nice too but like the Aussie, it didn't do anything special for me.
Repurchase? No - especially not at the price it currently sells at! (£8.16)

White Glo Extra Strength Whitening Toothpaste
I reviewed this product not so long ago and I finished it up not long after that. I liked this toothpaste, it did help whiten my teeth a little but there was nothing dramatic - like I said at the time, it is only a toothpaste after all. Maybe I need to try something more dramatic for better results?
Repurchase? Not at the moment, maybe in the distant future though.

Eau De Soap & Glory Original Pink Perfume Spray
This was one of the first products I bought from Soap & Glory - I was after something with *that* scent and when I caught a whiff of this, I was hooked! Unfortunately this didn't last very long at all, which was a bit disappointing considering that it cost £16.50. I also didn't like that you couldn't see how much was left!
Repurchase? No, I've can get my S&G scent fix from all my other products now!

SteamCream*
Again, another product reviewed not so long ago, if you read it you will know that I was less than impressed with this moisturiser. I didn't like the smell, the texture, how it felt on my skin... The simple fact of the matter is that you can buy a better moisturiser for much less - it just wasn't for me.
Repurchase? No.
