Otley Haul

September 18, 2012

This Saturday I was desperate to go to Otley for the day - mainly because there is a Superdrug store there that sells the MUA Professional line. However me and the fella got up late, so we decided to go for a couple of hours in the afternoon instead. I haven't been to Otley in a long time and forgot how nice it is! Even on a Saturday afternoon it wasn't busy and we had enough time to look around all the shops and I got what I wanted. So, without further ado, here's what I bought!

Sainsburys, £2
I did originally go into Sainsburys to look at the Dirty Works range, but when I saw that there was a selection of candles available I did go a bit mad! These were on offer, I think they were half price or something like that. They smell quite fresh and light, which is good for my bedroom!

Sainsburys, 25p
After deciding to buy the tealights above I realised that I had nothing to put them in, so I picked this up for pennies. It's made out of glass, so it's pretty durable. It also fits the candles below perfectly so I may have to go back to buy some more of these in the future!

The Gift Gallery, £1.75 each
I spotted a sign for this shop on the main street, and it's a good job I did otherwise I would never have known about this little shop stuffed with Yankee Candles! There were so many to choose from, but Martin settled for the bottom two and Country Lemonade, whilst I bought Pink Sands and Warm Spice.

Boots, £4.49 each
My current shampoo and conditioners are now coming to an end, so I needed to purchase something else ready for when that happens! I've heard so many good things about this range, and with an absolutely amazing scent, they have to be worth a go. These were on 3 for 2 with the next item that you'll see below!

Boots, £6.63
My hair's been overdue a fresh dye for many months now, and with a holiday looming I decided it was about time that I get on with it! I wanted a shade similar to my current hair so that not much can go wrong - in theory! I've not tried this brand of dye before so I'm looking forward to the results.

Superdrug, £4 each
What I really went to Otley for - the Undressed palette! I'd been dying to get my hands on this ever since it was released, especially after the rave reviews it was getting. I also purchased Going For Gold, which I wasn't intending to but I didn't really want to leave it behind once I had spotted it.

Superdrug, £1
I'm doing very badly at my "not buying any more nail polish until I use others first" ban, I think I've bought more than ever since then! I'm a sucker for nudes recently, and with this being a new addition to the MUA line, again I couldn't leave it behind. This is the shade "All Nude".

Superdrug, £8/free
MUA are currently running an offer where if you spend £8 or more on their products, you receive the Immaculate collection for free. I already own this palette though (I got it from the same offer a few months ago), so I will be putting this in a blog sale for a reduced price in the near future!
