Kleenex Shine Absorbing Sheets
I'd been meaning to try some blotting papers, and came across these in a blog post a while ago. Last month, I eventually got around to buying some - and boy, am I glad I chose these! They work so, so well and do exactly what they claim - remove excess oil without disturbing make up. A handbag staple for sure!
Crazy Rumors Gingerbread Lip Balm
It was Fee from Makeup Savvy that first drew my attention to this lip balm, and despite having 1001 lip balms already, I was dying to try this one! A chance visit to Holland & Barrett allowed me to pick one up and it was love at first swipe. It tastes delicious and soothes my lips like no other - highly recommended.
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair SRC
This was given to me from work at Christmas, and whilst at first I wasn't totally enamoured, I've really grown to like this product. I've been using it every night before I sleep, and it seems to be going some way in keeping my skin soft and supple. Hopefully the long term effects will show themselves in due course!
Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Pink Truffle
I own three shades from the Lip Butter range, and this is the one that I've been reaching for almost every day. It offers a hint of colour that is buildable, and keeps my lips feeling moisturised and looking glossy. This is what I wear to work most days, because it doesn't need topping up often and wears down evenly.
Clinique Airbrush Concealer in Fair
This was another product given to me from work, and I put it to the test straight away. Knowing that it should behave in a similar way to YSL's Touche Eclat, I was surprised to find that I actually prefer this! It offers a bit more coverage whilst still highlighting my under eye area. It's creamy and easy to work in too.
La Roche-Posay Effacular Duo [+]
I fell for the hype and bought this from Escentual last month. I apply it exclusively to my oily t-zone every morning, in a bid to keep it in check. Whilst it hasn't done much at all on that front, it offers a really good base to apply make up on, leaves my skin nicely moisturised and has faded some red marks that I had.
