This weekend just gone me and Martin went to visit two of my uni friends, and stayed overnight in Leicester. It was great to see them again and we all had a good time catching up! On the Sunday they made their way home, and so with a couple of hours to kill before our coach we had a wander around the city centre to see what had changed. We picked up a few bits along the way!
Internacionale, £2.99 each
The Peacocks store that used to be in Leicester has now become an Internacionale. I was quite disappointed to see this until we popped inside and I saw their jewellery range! All of it was on "Buy 1 Get 1 Half Price" so I picked up these amazing skeleton earrings and a gold skull ring to match.
Aroma, £7.25 & £9.75
One of the shops that had changed in the Highcross shopping centre was this... a big shop where 80% of the stock was Yankee Candles! Cherries on Snow had 25% off as the "Fragrance of the month" so I picked that one up, along with Cranberry Ice, which Martin is going to give me for Christmas.
Americandy, £3.99
This was another shop in the Highcross, although this one hadn't been changed. Although ludicrously expensive it was impossible to resist the delicious snacks they had to offer! These are by far my favourite Flipz and I've not had them for years... they taste as good as I remember.
Americandy, £1.95
I had never seen so many Nerds flavours in one place... it was a struggle to choose which ones I wanted! In the end Martin chose for me and we went for these. I'd never had these before but he made the right choice as they taste amazing, I was tempted to eat the entire box!
Americandy, £1.85
Personally I'm not a huge fan of M&M's so these are for Martin really. However I'm certainly gonna be giving these a go! They had a whole range of flavours from raspberry to peanut butter, most of them to be honest would not be my cup of tea at all. I'm curious to see whether you can taste the salt like Flipz!
Americandy, £1.99
This is currently sat innocently in its white paper bag, staring at me and right now I really want to eat it! Everyone has to agree that the best bit of an Oreo is the creme filling so this was a must have for us. It looks like the stodgiest, stickiest, unhealthiest chocolate brownie in the world.
ASOS, skull bracelet: £6, rings: £6 & spiked bracelet: £4.50
I'm very late to hop onto the rose gold bandwagon, and these were a spontaneous purchase. ASOS had 25% off their range and free next day delivery, so when I saw these I bought them straight away! It's hard to pick a favourite out of the three but it might have to be the skull bracelet.
