I was having a think recently about what blog posts I'm going to be writing over the next few weeks, and I was struggling. To give myself some inspiration, I decided to go back through some of my posts from the last year or so, and see if anything needed revisiting, or expanded upon. I didn't come across too much but I did find this post - The Photographs That Never Made It, Part 1. I remember creating that post, and thought it was about six months ago - no, it was almost a year! It's amazing how time flies; I genuinely didn't realise it had been that long. There are lots of pictures that I have taken since that blog post that have never seen the light of day, and it's about time that they were. As I talked about in that first post, I absolutely love taking photographs purely as a hobby, and that of course includes for this blog too. Over the last year, however, I have started to put more and more pictures that I'm proud of onto my Instagram, and I've really enjoyed using it more because of this. If you go back through my Instagram timeline you will see some absolutely shocking pictures, and I wasn't using the platform effectively. Now, I'm pleased to say that I am, and I feel a lot happier about using it as a promotional tool for this blog once in a while. All that being said, however, not all of my pictures end up on there and there are quite a few languishing on my computer that I want to get out into the world and to be seen. So, enjoy this very picture heavy post - and I will try to get this little series to be a more regular occurrence in the future.
